INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

Information Technology Division aids in the direction and control of agency resources.  Arkansas Acts 511, 687, 646 provide for the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management to:

1.  Operate and maintain information systems.
2.  Establish additional information systems as deemed necessary by the Director.

Information Technology Division is responsible for :

1.  The establishment, maintenance and implementation of information technology.
2.  Staffing the emergency communications center and mobile command centers.
3.  Providing coordination, guidance and technical assistance to local, state and federal agencies on matters related to information systems and/or their reestablishment during times of disaster.
